Automotive Flat Cars

Shipping cars, trucks and vans requires the specialized equipment in the GATX fleet of specially-designed automotive flat cars specifically equipped with an enclosed superstructure for transporting finished vehicles.

Capacity ranges from up to 10 large sports utility vehicles or vans with bi-level equipment, and up to 18 compact automobiles with tri-level equipment. Our enclosed autoracks transport  vehicles of all sizes in an efficient and secure manner.
