Covered Hopper Railcars
The GATX fleet of railcars offers a variety of general purpose covered hoppers.
Car sizes range from 2,700 to 6,500 cubic feet, and cars feature various types of unloading mechanisms including gravity, pneumatic, fluidized, pressure-differential, and sparger. GATX railcars are offered with gross weight capacities ranging from 220,000 to 286,000 pounds.
