Full Stack Developer
Overview:
Full Stack Developer (SharePoint Next.js, NEST JS, Sharepoint) will play a crucial role in maintaining and implementing new projects for GIPL which are based on SharePoint online and custom built UI. Employee will work on developing workflows using Power Automate and power apps. Independently carry out QA testing for the new applications and work with third-party vendors for successful production deployment of new applications.
Key Job Activities:
The SharePoint developer within the Technology function works directly with the Head of Technology to support digital transformation projects for various functional groups within the company. In addition, it is also expected that the candidate proactively drives initiatives and is able to work on SharePoint online. The incumbent is also responsible to regularly work with third-party vendors to support QA and production deployment. This is an individual contributor position and requires a candidate who is self-driven and thrives to work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience Required (including certifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
- 3-5 years of prior experience working as a SharePoint developer
- Expertise in C#, SQL, NestJS and NextJS frameworks
- Knowledge in JavaScript
- Problem-management and critical and strategic thinking abilities
- Previous experience particularly in the areas for setting up of data flow and migration
- Create custom designs and intranets for the user as per the basic needs
- Develop and design brand-new web components using c#, XML, SQL and similar tools
- Update and sustain the SharePoint development areas for web applications
- Train staff and end users about the interface and system
Interaction: GIPL functional groups, GATX SharePoint Administrator, Third-party vendors (incl. developers)
Competency:
- Configure SharePoint systems as per the user’s needs
- Has a clear understanding and holds experience of working languages such as Next.js, NEST JS
- Ensure that the SharePoint development is done in a way that is feasible, scalable and reliable
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs and glitches for a seamless web interface
- Coordinate and prepare reports for tracking project progress
